Norway will actually take your breath away, it’s that stunning.
We went with a group of nine friends on a whim: one day our friend Paul spontaneously asked “hey guys, want to go to Norway? Tickets are $400…” Not knowing much about Norway, we typed it into Google Images and immediately said “yep!”
Little did we know that we were about to embark on a trip to one of the most beautiful places in the entire world. To this day, we compare every location we visit to Norway. “On a scale from 1 to Norway, I’d give it a ___.”
We started our 10-day trip in the south , where we rented two cars and road-tripped from Oslo to Bergen and back. Next, we flew from Oslo to the Lofoten Islands and drove down to Reine, a tiny fishing village in the Arctic. If you ever visit Norway, you MUST spend time in the Lofoten Islands.
What did we do in Norway? Well, we shot a LOT of video and photography (check out Raphael’s drone video HERE). Each day, we hopped into our cars with our cameras, picked a direction and just drove until we saw something worth stopping for, which made it hard to actually get anywhere: everything in Norway was worth stopping for. We climbed a mountain - only 4 out of 9 of us made it to the top and I was one of them. I felt like a bad-ass… And we jumped in the Fjord behind our house (see proof HERE.)
Moral of the story: go to Norway, bring a camera and do not miss the Lofoten Islands.
